ADE09 :: OBJEKTIVITY LABEL NIGHT
Back to agenda
The Objektivity crew and its captain Dennis Ferrer must’ve loved the last year’s ADE party at Club Home, as on Saturday night October 24th, Objektivity will return “Home” once again! Baring the previous edition in mind, with people queuing up to as far as the old IT building, afterwards characterizing the evening as nothing short of legendary, this year’s homecoming of Objektivity will raise the bar again with its high profile line up of international artists and Dutch finest.
Dennis Ferrer, founder of the Objektivity label and recently awarded Best Deep House Artist 2009 by Beatport, will of course set the standard. Having countless club hits under his belt, ‘US finest’ keeps on pounding dance floors and stealing hearts with recent tracks ‘Headphone Silence’, ‘Sinfonia Della Notte’ and his newest release ‘Hey Hey’. This exceptional songwriter/producer/DJ, a true leader and innovator, remains one of the greats of house music.
Under his masters wings Objektivity proudly presents their newest member of the crew for this year’s edition: Argy. After three years of life as a recording artist, Argy is now receiving the kind of credit he's worked so hard to deserve and is recognized as a consistent driving force in modern electronic dance music. Argy stands for magical live sets, daring to mix a Jeff Mills techno cut with a rare disco classic. Through his natural talent for playing in-tune and constantly grooving DJ sets that know no musical boundaries, Argy excels in creating a real party soundscape that works perfectly with his bold image to ensure his performances are refreshingly different in the current club world.
How many DJ’s get to play the Shelter and Pacha while they’re still in high school? Right on, an evening of Objektivity wouldn’t be complete without
The Martinez Brothers. Chris and Steve Martinez, though two of the youngest people in house music, have already scored genuine club hits ('My Rendition' and ‘Debbie Downer’), wowed crowds at the Winter Music Conference and earned rave reviews for their energetic DJ sets all over the globe. Some called them a gimmick, but cynics turned out to be dead wrong: there is plenty of substance and talent to back up the novelty value of TMB.
Objektivity’s brute international force will be flanked by the power of true Dutch delight when Incredible House will take over the upstairs area. Leroy Styles, Melly Mel, Risk Sound System, Rancido and Cleon Macnack will man the decks! Perfect percussion will be provided by Jethro Angkotta whilst Ms. Lex Empress flawlessly flavors the ongoing craze with her stunning vocals.
We’ve got a hard time remaining objective with this follow up on last year’s legendary edition. Better make sure you’re not the last one in line this time!
