Sunnery James
Sunnery James is known by his funky, groovy, percussive and electric house sounds, that he brings to the crowd in a fancy way. Brought up in a musical family he got interested in different kinds of music at a young age. At the age of 7 his parents decided it was time for some piano lessons, to give his love for music a new dimension. Because of the piano lessons he really learned to respect all types of music. Throughout the years Sunnery developed himself as a dj and found out it was a great way to share his thought about music with others and entertain them at the same time… The last few years he worked his way to the top of the Dutch dance scene and already had some international gigs on a regular base in Spain (Ibiza/ Eldivino, Barcelona/ CDLC), Belgium, England and Germany (Dusseldorf/Les Halles). He is resident dj for different clubnights as R!CH , SAPPIG!, SALSALOUNGE, PEACH and ICE. Clubs in The Netherlands were he played the past year at :Escape Venue, Panama, Musk, Hotel Arena, Off Corso, Club Players, The Mansion,Thalia Lounge, Now&Wow, Winkel van Sinkel, the Zebra Lounge, Bloomingdale (summer-season), BLM9 (summer-season), the Powerzone, the Sand. Next to these clubs he also plays at a lot of other places. In the summer of 2006 Sunnery James played at one of the biggest outdoor events in Holland called "Latin Village". Also he was seen in the line up with some big international stars as D’Ramirez, Audiobullys, Dennis Ferrer and Erick Morillo at different events! Together with Ryan Marciano, 4 cdj 1000 mk2 (Pioneer), a djm 800 mixer he will rock the crowd in a stunning way. These two guys together are unstoppable!! As a producer Sunnery already has some different remixes and productions in his repertoire. Well known dj’s are playing productions of Sunnery at the primetime of their sets! Different dj’s/producers are dropping their stuff at Sunnery for an opinion or a pre-mix. He is already asked to make a house-remix for one the most legendary Dutch songs, for a movie-soundtrack in 2007! Keep your eyes and ears wide open for this and his other productions and remixes!
