BAGGI BEGOVIC

Adjin Begovic, also known as DJ Baggi Begovic, seems indestructible and he always finds a way in releasing mind-blowing tracks. Being truly devoted to music, his huge productions and collaborations with great artists prove that Baggi Begovic is ready to conquer the world with his sound!

Starting as one of the residents at Barocca (Rotterdam), Baggi Begovic soon put his characteristic stamp on the dance industry. Inspired by artists - such as Erick E, Miss Monica and Deep Dish - Baggi Begovic is now nationally known for being driven by music only and his presence keeps every dance floor filled easily. He's performed at large events (such as Global Gathering, Creamfields, Sensation, Stealth, Ministry of Sound, Mysteryland, Sneakerz and ADE) and this year he had several gigs in Greece, Turkey, Croatia, England and Spain – just to name a few.

The sound of Baggi Begovic is best described as very surprising. His groovy, funky clubsound is one to remember him by, as it’s uniquely combined with pure tribal drums, the sweetest vocals and progressive techhouse sound. Baggi Begovic KNOWS music and easily blends every beat into one delicious set.

Due to his capability of releasing one outstanding production after another, many record labels are proud to release his tracks. His track “Good God with Funkerman and his remix on Donna Summer’s “I’m A Fire already received the best reviews – and his own production “Big Difference and the Baggi Begovic remix for Audiostar ft. Amanda Wilson (“Break It Off“) have been enthusiastically signed by Spinnin' Records.
The recent Baggi Begovic release “Break of Dawn is supported by Roger Sanchez, who played it many times on his radioshow “Release Yourself. This track also entered the Ibiza Top Chart on no. 4 and has been chosen for several albums (such as the Hed Kandi compilation and Sneakerz Muzic).
His remix for Sandy Rivera’s – “Freak (released on the Defected label) has received many rewarding reviews and gave him several new chances in the dance industry.
Being the unstoppable Music Machine he is, Baggi Begovic refreshed his playlist with remixes of Shik Stylko (“That Night), Kevin Duvall (“I Feel Love) and other remixes for Tom de Neef, Hardsoul and Groovenatics.

Having put his mark on the international dance-scene, in 2007 Baggi Begovic successfully united his talents with top-producer Simon van Kesteren. As “Baggi Begovic Do Soul Conspiracy they have already launched many mindblowing productions, such as “So Into You (R&G Electronics), “Insane (a David Penn & Peter Gelderblom Remix), “Don’t Lose The Magic (a Shawn Christopher Remix, signed by Bar Grooves Label – sublabel Defected).

At the moment, Baggi Begovic still spends most of his time in the studio, producing high quality tracks. His plans for the forthcoming months are very promising, in which his collaboration with the Dutch Groovenatics is one to be on the lookout for. Their track “The Message is already signed with the legendary label “Nervous Records (USA), who also had signed some of the greatest artists – such as Todd Terry, Robbie Rivera, Roger Sanchez and Armand van Helden.
In the next month (October 2008), Baggi will release his CD Compilation “Addicted To Baggi Begovic & Dj Disciple and together with Nanchang Nancy he will release “It's Only Nothing on Stealth Records on October 20th.
Also the great label Defected has signed Baggi’s remix on Copyright’s “Deeper and CeCe Peniston has let Baggi remix her hit “Crank It Up. On top of this, Baggi will present his remix on Exacta “Sweat and Big City Rec will soon release Baggi’s remix on Getting Deep (Marco Petralia).

As if it’s not enough, the Music machine continues. Baggi Begovic will be remixing for Cevin Fisher, Rules of the Deep and DJ Disciple. Baggi Begovic: truly devoted and unstoppable in his career – it’s a clear fact that we haven’t heard the last thing about him, his notable collaborations ánd respectable productions.
